APPLICATION
Rotational lining of metal structures
PRIMARY USE
Provides unmatched corrosion protection for
· Tanks, pressure vessels, scrubbers, pipe spool and fittings exposed to aggressive, corrosive chemicals
· Caissons and other equipment exposed to seawater
· Pumps, valves, flowmeters, heat exchangers, filter housings and other process equipment
MATERIALS
PFA, ETFE, PVDF, ECTFE, nylon 12, HDPE, RMB BIO-ARMOR
TECHNICAL DATA
Maximum dimensions:
· 8′ diameter x 20′ length
· 10′ diameter x 12′ length
Part geometries: Simple to complex, including parts with diameter changes, multiple outlets, nozzles or other requirements
Wall thickness of lining: 0.090” to 0.400” (typically 0.100” to 0.250”)
Options: Additives for color, UV resistance, antimicrobial or other properties
Maximum service temperature: 260°C/500°F
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
· Exceptional resistance to chemical reaction, high temperatures, corrosion and stress-cracking
· Lower total cost of ownership than traditional metals and alloys
· Longer service life and less maintenance than powder coating or sheet lining
· Optimal design flexibility
· Shorter manufacturing lead times
Rotational lining is ideally suited to protect unconventionally sized or shaped parts. A uniform, seamless polymer layer is bonded to the
interior of the metal structure, producing a monolithic, corrosion-and chemical-resistant lining that conforms to complex shapes and is
virtually free of stresses.
