2019 Facility Upgrades

August 2019

We have been making many upgrades around our facility this year to increase production efficiency, including the following equipment:

Cryogrinder

This equipment gives us the capability to toll grind a variety of challenging plastics into many different particle sizes.

Haas VM-6 Vertical CNC Milling Machine

Designed for mold making applications, this machine can handle molds over 5’ in length and cut metals at 500 inches per minute. This allows our team to make molds in as little as one day, decreasing the overall production time of new rotational molding projects.

Pro-X SLS 6100 Selective Laser Sintering Machine

We replaced one of our 10 selective laser sintering machines with this upgraded equipment. With this state-of-the-art additive manufacturing machine, build time is decreased 25-50%. Other benefits of this machine include higher resolution and smoother surface finishes of the final part as well as increased material purity with the use of a closed automatic blending and recycling system.

Paint Booth

This booth is temperature-controlled which enables us to accelerate paint curing and increase production efficiency while painting aerospace and heavy industry parts.
