RMB Products has recently committed to becoming a “landfill free” facility by the end of 2021. As a major step towards this goal, RMB has partnered with two plastic recycling companies to recycle scrap materials from our manufacturing process.
Birch Plastics will recycle the Nylon 12 and PolyFlo will recycle the Teflon PFA. These companies will regrind the scrap material and combine with other scrap material to create recycled blends that will be available from each company.
These new programs will remove an estimated 1,500 pounds of Nylon 12 and 360 pounds of PFA from the landfill per month.
Recycling this material will not only benefit the environment, but also keep our company accountable in reducing the amount of future scrap material.
